comrades,
compare this account of what’s going on (or has been going on a while aggo) in Ar-Raqqa with the one the Mandalite review “International Viewpoint” has published and which is essentially covering the same period of time(http://internationalviewpoint.org/spip.php?article3131).
Nobody poltically sane has ever claimed that all opponents of the Assad regime are reactionary jihadists and takfiris, but where the hell are the secular “democratic” forces (“local commitees” e.g.) organized in way sufficient to confront the jihadist rebels in any serious way? The writer of the articler below who quite obviously is a supporter of the Syrian “revolution” and who has been on the scene doesn’t even care to mention the local comittees.
