(Amnesty International)

Saudi Arabian national Abdullah Al Qahtani is at imminent risk of execution in Iraq
He is one of six men who were reportedly tortured into “confessing” to being members of terrorist organization al-Qaeda.
Four of Abdullah’s six co-defendants were already executed. Abdullah is next.
Thanks in part to the calls of Amnesty supporters, Abdullah’s execution had been temporarily delayed. However, Abdullah’s time is once again running out.
Please help stop the imminent execution of Abdullah al-Qahtani.

HAROLD W. SCISM AN INNOCENT MAN: HABEAUS CORPUS RELIEF
„(…) In November of 2005, he adopted the 2 females. They changed their first names to Kaylie and Kimberly. They both spoke to a Judge in Bartow, FL and wrote a letter to the Judge about how much they wanted to be adopted and have Harry be their legal father.
The oldest female would turn 18 in April and the other sister was 16. With no investigation of the story given in the police report, and without communicating with adults familiar with Harry and his adopted daughters, detective Thomas Banks arrested Harry charging him with sexual abuse.(…)“

URGENT CALL TO ACTION – TONY’S LIFE IS UNDER IMMINENT THREAT!!
The prosecution has had an unexpected and totally insane about turn in Tony’s case. While thusfar they have been supportive of DNA testing to expose the true perpetrator of the crime, they have suddenly decided to oppose all further testing with immediate effect.
.
This decision is beyond crazy since the latest testing in the case EXCLUDED Tony.
To enable further investigations and force the hand of the legal system to not condemn a man already EXCLUDED from the crime to execution we need to raise $5000 in a very short space of time.
Should you find it in your heart to help – literally even in the amount of $1 if it is all you can spare – please click on the link below and donate whatever you are able, be it large or small.
Tony has already had 2 stays of execution which means should the judge agree with the prosecution at a hearing scheduled for January 8th, he could have as little as 30 days to live.

Amnesty International: Free Tibetan filmmaker Dhondup Wangchen
When Dhondup Wangchen picked up a video camera for the first time in his life, he knew it was at great personal risk.
His film, „Leaving Fear Behind,“ criticizes China’s promise of greater freedom in the run-up to the 2008 Beijing Olympics. China’s repression in Tibet has only worsened.
Dhondup Wangchen was severely punished for the film. Tried in secret, tortured and denied treatment for his health condition, Dhondup Wangchen is serving an unbelievable 6-year sentence for „inciting separatism.“
Demand Dhondup Wangchen’s immediate and unconditional release.
Dhondup Wangchen is one of 10 urgent human rights cases highlighted in Amnesty International’s 2013 Write for Rights campaign, the world’s largest and most effective letter-writing event.
Tibetans need strong voices like Dhondup Wangchen’s to stand with them against the assault on their human rights:
- Nomads are evicted from their pastures
- Schoolchildren are expelled for requesting Tibetan textbooks
- Monasteries are under constant surveillance
Several Tibetans have responded with desperate acts of protest – including setting themselves on fire – as a last attempt to demand the same freedom and rights to which every human being is entitled.
Use your voice to free prisoner of conscience Dhondup Wangchen.
Each one of us, acting together, has the power to open a prison door and free someone whose human rights are being violated.
Dhondup Wangchen risked everything – his family, his livelihood, his life – to help the Tibetan people speak of their views and their suffering to the world. Let’s show him it was worth it.
In solidarity,
Jasmine Heiss
