Colombia Solidarity Week – How You Can Participate!
This is the International Week of Solidarity with the Colombian Peace Process, with a particular emphasis on October 15th. In Colombia, October 15th is traditionally a day to remember the country’s 10,000 political prisoners. The National Indigenous Organization of Colombia (ONIC) has also called for demonstrations throughout the nation to demand greater political participation for indigenous communities, respect for their territorial integrity, an end to Free Trade Agreements with the US, Canada and Europe, and an end to exploitative mining and extractive policies. We declare our support for those demands!
