Mit der Unterstützung aktiver Citizens wurde am 25. April 2013 das erste Zelt der Non-Citizens (Asylsuchenden) in München aufgebaut, um Non-Citizen-Lager in Bayern besuchen zu können. Das Zelt stand an zwei verschiedenen Plätzen; erst vor der Ludwig-Maximilian-Universität, danach in der Nähe des Odeonsplatzes. Wir blieben dort für insgesamt 10 Tage.
In der Zwischenzeit fand am 30. April in Regensburg die gerichtliche Anhörung im Asylverfahren eines der protestierenden Non-Citizens des Münchener Zeltes statt. Rund 70 Personen waren vor Gericht anwesend, um ihn zu unterstützen. Dieses Mal, basierend auf seinem Engagement im Widerstand der Non-Citizens während des vergangenen Jahres, wurde der Asylantrag des protestierenden Non-Citizens anerkannt. Dies stellt einen Sieg dar, welcher nach dem Verständnis der protestierenden Non-Citizens ein Recht für jede_n Non-Citizen ist.
Am selben Tag fand in Regensburg eine Demonstration mit 300 Teilnehmer_innen statt. Auf dieser Demonstration gaben Non-Citizens ihre Meinung über diese Art von Gerichtsverhandlungen und -prozessen kund. Zudem drückten sie ihren Willen aus, den Widerstand weiterzuführen, bis allen Non-Citizens das Recht anerkannt wird, Citizens zu werden, und sie damit die Möglichkeit haben, ein Leben wie alle Anderen zu führen. Einigkeit unter Non-Citizens, so wurde es erklärt, sei die dafür am stärksten benötigte Kraft.
Am 1. Mai fand in München ein Treffen mit aktiven Citizens statt. Dabei wurde über Theorien, Strukturen und zukünftige Pläne des Widerstandes diskutiert. Abschließend wurden Arbeitsgruppen gebildet, die die nächsten Schritte realisieren sollen.
Da das primäre Ziel die Kommunikation und der Austausch mit anderen Non-Citizens ist, begannen protestierende Non-Citizens während einer zehntägigen Tour, alle Non-Citizen-Lager der Region zu besuchen. Dies geschah, um Informationen über die derzeitigen Kämpfe von Non-Citizens auf der Straße an andere Non-Citizens weiterzugeben. Nachdem alle Non-Citizen-Lager in Oberbayern besucht waren, fand am 4. Mai vor dem Münchener Protestzelt ein Treffen mit Non-Citizens der Region statt. Dieses Treffen behandelte die Frage ‚Warum protestieren wir?‘ sowie die Fragestellung, wie Non-Citizens mit der Basis des Widerstands verbunden werden können. Das Treffen fand außerhalb der Isolation der Lager statt. Dadurch wurde der Raum für die Subjekte des Non-Citizen Kampfes geöffnet, um untereinander die Selbstorganisation besprechen zu können.
Nachdem die Region Oberbayern abgedeckt war, zog das Zelt protestierender Non-Citizens am 6. Mai nach Augsburg weiter, um Non-Citizen-Lager in Schwaben zu besuchen.
Während die nötigen Genehmigungen für ein Zelt in der Stadt von Augsburg angesucht wurde, wandte die Augsburger Verwaltung alle möglichen Restriktionen an, um den Willen der protestierenden Non-Citizens zu brechen und die Weiterführung ihres Kampfes zu verhindern. Mittlerweile wurden nicht wie beantragt zwei, sondern nur ein einziges Zelt für zehn protestierende Non-Citizens und nur drei Betten, ohne die offizielle Erlaubnis zur Übernachtung, genehmigt.
Das Protestzelt der Non-Citizens führt seinen Kampf am Augsburger Rathausplatz stärker als je zuvor weiter!

Press Release: Protest Tent of Non-Citizens in Augsburg now
The protest tent of non-citizens continues its struggle at Rathausplatz of Augsburg stronger than before!
With the support of active citizens, the first tent of non-citizens (asylum seekers) got built in Munich on April 25th 2013, in order to go to non-citizen camps in the federal state of Bavaria. The tent stood in two places; first, in front of Ludwig-Maximilian-University and after, close to Odeonsplatz. We stayed for 10 days in total.
Meanwhile the asylum court hearing, of a protesting non-citizen from the Munich tent, took place in Regensburg on April 30th. Around 70 people were present in court in support. This time, based on his engagement in the non-citizen struggle during the last year, the protesting non-citizen got accepted. This is a victory, that in the understanding of the protesting non-citizens is a right for any non-citizen.
The same day a demonstration with 300 people took place in Regensburg. Here non-citizens announced their position about this kind of court hearings and their processes. Also they stated their will for continuing the struggle until all non-citizens achieve the right to citizenship – the possibility of a life just like anybody else. Unity within non-citizens, it was stated, is the strongest needed force.
On May 1st a meeting with active citizens took place. Discussions on the theories, the structure of the struggle and future plans took place. In the end, workgroups for realizing the next steps got formed.
Having as a first goal communication and exchange with fellow non-citizens, during a 10 day tour, protesting non-citizens started going to all non-citizen camps for passing on information to fellow non-citizen on the current non-citizen struggles on the street. After covering all non-citizen camps in Upper Bavaria a meeting with non-citizens of the region took place on May 4th in front of the Munich protest tent. This meeting tried to open the topics ‚Why are we protesting?‘ and on how to connect non-citizens to the very base of the struggle. The meeting continued out of the isolation of the camps which opened the space for the subjects of non-citizen struggles to discuss themselves how self-organizing can take place.
After the area of Upper Bavaria was covered, the protesting non-citizen tent moved to Augsburg on May 6th, to cover non-citizen camps in the Swabia area.
During the process of obtaining the necessary persmission for having a tent in the city of Augsburg, the augsburg administration used all possible restrictions for breaking the will of protesting non-citizens and the continue of their struggle. Now, not as requested two, but only one tent for 10 protesting non-citizens and only 3 beds, officially without the persmission to sleep, have been granted.
