here the text to our call for protest on the 1st of June :

„In the frame of the European protests against austerity, debt, the financial dictatorship and the systemic crisis that we are all facing and in response to the international call from Lisbon (http://queselixeatroika15setembro.blogspot.co.at/p/internacional_25.html) to protest against Troika (European Commission, European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund) JSF-Viena and solidarity4all.Vienna, decided to participate by organizing a open assembly on the 1st of June at 16:00, in front of the MQ. This is a call for a decentralized and open discussion and debate about what can we do here in Vienna. Everyone is welcome to join us, looking for the involvement of different social actors in a common struggle against these measures and this system.
Since the beginning of the crisis, many of us were forced to leave our countries due the economic situation back home. Precarious work and economical immigration imply severe forms of exploitation, that make it urgent for us to react, resist and organize. In order to do so, we consider it necessary to create networks and merge with the local civil society and other movements of economic exiles, to fight together and break the artificial division between the people from the North and the South, as we respond together against this modern form of exploitation. Therefore we call for the ‚open assembly of the suitcase‘ This assembly will be open, horizontal and based on consensus. We call everybody to bring their suitcases and decorate them with slogans or images about the crisis, austerity and any other related urgent issues they would like to address.

There are alternatives. There are solutions:

-On the Social and Environmental Justice.
-On Transparency and Participatory Democracy.
-Against privatization of the public sector and the common goods.
-On one Citizen Debt Audit. Against Illegitimate Debt.
No to the financial coup. We don’t owe, we won’t pay.
From the North to the South of Europe, let us take the streets against austerity!
